La nova ter\u00e0pia utilitza nanopart\u00edcules<\/strong> que actuen com a f\u00e0rmacs activament, no nom\u00e9s com a transportadores, per restaurar la funci\u00f3 de la barrera hematoencef\u00e0lica (BBB), essencial per eliminar toxines del cervell.<\/p>\n<p>Despr\u00e9s d&#8217;administrar <strong>nom\u00e9s tres dosis<\/strong>, els investigadors van observar una reducci\u00f3 del 50-60 % en els nivells de prote\u00efna amiloide-\u03b2 (A\u03b2) al cervell tot just una hora despr\u00e9s de la injecci\u00f3. Amb el temps, els ratolins tractats van recuperar comportaments similars als d&#8217;animals sans, fins i tot quan ja presentaven deteriorament cognitiu avan\u00e7at.<\/p>\n<p>El secret de l&#8217;\u00e8xit \u00e9s que l<strong>es nanopart\u00edcules no actuen directament sobre les neurones<\/strong>, sin\u00f3 que restableixen el sistema vascular cerebral.
