Tot i aix\u00f2, un recent estudi publicat a <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.science.org\/doi\/10.1126\/sciadv.aeb1394\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em data-start=\"296\" data-end=\"314\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">Science Advances<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/a><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"> ha anat un pas m\u00e9s enll\u00e0 en descriure un fenomen que q\u00fcestiona algunes de les idees m\u00e9s assentades sobre la vida, la regeneraci\u00f3 i l&#8217;envelliment cel\u00b7lular.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"474\" data-end=\"967\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">La investigaci\u00f3 se centra en <\/span><\/span><em data-start=\"504\" data-end=\"521\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">Psolus fabricii<\/span><\/span><\/em><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"> , una mena de cogombre de mar pertanyent al grup dels equinoderms, animals emparentats amb les estrelles de mar. L&#8217;equip cient\u00edfic va observar que fragments de teixit extrets d&#8217;aquests animals no nom\u00e9s sobrevivien fora de l&#8217;organisme, sin\u00f3 que continuaven creixent i reorganitzant-se durant m\u00e9s de tres anys en condicions sorprenentment simples: aigua de mar natural, sense nutrients afegits i sense condicions est\u00e8rils especials.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"969\" data-end=\"1365\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">Els teixits estudiats inclo\u00efen c\u00e8l\u00b7lules epid\u00e8rmiques, musculars, nervioses i connectives. Durant tot el per\u00edode d&#8217;observaci\u00f3, els explants van mantenir activitat biol\u00f2gica, van mostrar capacitat de divisi\u00f3 cel\u00b7lular, resposta immunit\u00e0ria i absorci\u00f3 de nutrients dissolts a l&#8217;aigua. En altres paraules, no es tractava de teixits conservats passivament sin\u00f3 d&#8217;estructures vives i funcionals. Un dels aspectes m\u00e9s destacats del treball \u00e9s que aquest comportament no es va observar en teixits daltres esp\u00e8cies relacionades analitzades per lequip investigador. Aix\u00f2 suggereix que <\/span><\/span><em data-start=\"1553\" data-end=\"1570\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">Psolus fabricii<\/span><\/span><\/em><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"> t\u00e9 caracter\u00edstiques biol\u00f2giques excepcionals que, fins ara, no havien estat descrites a la literatura cient\u00edfica.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"1691\" data-end=\"2125\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">M\u00e9s enll\u00e0 de la curiositat biol\u00f2gica, la troballa podria tenir importants implicacions per a \u00e0rees com ara la medicina regenerativa, l&#8217;enginyeria de teixits i la investigaci\u00f3 biom\u00e8dica.
