En un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41586-024-07380-6\">metaan\u00e0lisi publicat a la revista <em>Nature<\/em><\/a>, els investigadors van trobar que de tots els &#8220;impulsors del canvi global&#8221; que estan destruint els ecosistemes, la p\u00e8rdua d&#8217;esp\u00e8cies era la que m\u00e9s augmentava el risc de brots. La p\u00e8rdua de biodiversitat va ser seguida pel canvi clim\u00e0tic i la introducci\u00f3 d&#8217;esp\u00e8cies no natives.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Els missatges clau s\u00f3n que la p\u00e8rdua de biodiversitat, el canvi clim\u00e0tic i les esp\u00e8cies introdu\u00efdes augmenten les malalties, mentre que l&#8217;urbanitzaci\u00f3 les disminueix&#8221;, va dir el professor Jason Rohr, investigador principal de la Universitat de Notre Dame als Estats Units. Els experts van analitzar gaireb\u00e9 1.000 estudis d&#8217;impulsors ambientals globals de malalties infeccioses, abastant tots els continents excepte l&#8217;Ant\u00e0rtida. Van observar tant la gravetat com la prevalen\u00e7a de la malaltia en plantes, animals i amfitrions humans.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;equip es va centrar en cinc impulsors del canvi global: p\u00e8rdua de biodiversitat, canvi clim\u00e0tic, contaminaci\u00f3 qu\u00edmica, esp\u00e8cies no natives i p\u00e8rdua d&#8217;h\u00e0bitat. Van descobrir que quatre de cada cinc van augmentar la propagaci\u00f3 de malalties: tots excepte la p\u00e8rdua d&#8217;h\u00e0bitat.
