Aquestes c\u00e8l\u00b7lules converteixen la llum solar en electricitat de manera eficient i presenten una notable resist\u00e8ncia a la radiaci\u00f3, una caracter\u00edstica essencial per operar a l&#8217;entorn hostil de la Lluna. \u200b<\/p>\n<p>El proc\u00e9s de fabricaci\u00f3 implica fondre el regolit lunar simulat per crear <strong>&#8220;vidre lunar&#8221;<\/strong> <strong>o &#8220;<em>moonglass&#8221;.<\/em><\/strong> Aquest vidre es combina amb <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Perovskita\"><strong>perovskites<\/strong><\/a>, una mena de vidres coneguts per la seva efici\u00e8ncia en la conversi\u00f3 d&#8217;energia solar i la facilitat de fabricaci\u00f3. La combinaci\u00f3 de moonglass i perovskites d\u00f3na com a resultat c\u00e8l\u00b7lules solars que, per cada gram de material enviat a lespai, poden generar fins a 100 vegades m\u00e9s energia que els panells solars tradicionals.<\/p>\n<p>La utilitzaci\u00f3 de materials disponibles a la superf\u00edcie lunar per fabricar c\u00e8l\u00b7lules solars in situ<strong> podria reduir significativament els costos i desafiaments log\u00edstics associats amb el transport de materials des de la Terra<\/strong>.
