Source: https:\/\/11defebrero.org\/<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">Last week we celebrated\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/11defebrero.org\/\"><strong><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">February 11th<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/a><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"> , the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, and at SATDI we wanted to learn about the work of some of the service&#8217;s technicians and discover the variety of scientific profiles working in the Teaching and Research Support Service. We learned about the work of Clara Blanes, who works in the Public Health Department and is specifically focused on the\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cairproject.eu\/\"><strong><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">CAIR project,<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/a><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"> \u00a0a community-based project in the Carr\u00fas neighborhood of Elche that aims to improve the lives and health of people in the neighborhood and surrounding areas. There are many ways to do science, and hers is one of the least visible. She is in charge of the logistics and equipment control at the institute and is an indispensable part of the development and progress of the research carried out there. They also showed us the\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><em><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">Street Lab,\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/em><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit\"> where a very promising clinical study is underway.
