Supply of reagents, consumable material and small laboratory equipment

The Miguel Hernández University of Elche has established a Dynamic Acquisition System (DAS) for the supply of reagents, consumable material and small laboratory equipment commonly used in its research and teaching laboratories and workshops, as well as for other services, units and centers of this University.

Due to the complexity, variety and peculiarities of the products used in the different laboratories and workshops of the University, it has been decided to organize the necessary products into 10 categories , considering the generic types of products grouped by related families.

Suppliers may be affiliated with one or more of the categories that make up the SDA, having submitted a product catalog for each of them.

The choice of an acquisition system based on a Dynamic Acquisition System, combined with an electronic catalog, a system that facilitates the adaptation of the products offered to the changing needs of the UMH, through:

  • The addition of new suppliers at any time during its validity.
  • Updating the electronic product catalog according to real needs.
  • Obtaining the best offers adjusted to market prices throughout their validity.

 

All purchases of products belonging to this SDA must be made through the ordering application that is available in the UMH’s identified access.

 

The technical management of this SDA is carried out by the Technical Support Service for Teaching and Research (SATDI), as a specialized technical service, and has the collaboration of the Innovation and Technological Planning Service (SIPT) for the maintenance of the computer application for purchases and the Contract Planning and Monitoring Service (SPSC) for monitoring the correct execution of the agreement.
